Happy Birthday to www.paperpostonline.com!

It has been barely a year since www.paperpostonline.com was launched. The year has brought: lots of anxiety, HUGE learning curve, help and hand holding via cyberspace from Mary @Mary Designs (my own personal angel...), positive reinforcement from friends, clients and family and personal excitement to be thinking outside the box, stepping out of my comfort zone and learning software programs that didn't exist when I was in school!
We are in the home stretch...Christmas is just 21 days away and Hanukkah, on December 22nd, is in only 19 days! www.paperpostonline.com has seen a surge in business this week...and I want to say "Thank you".
Keep me bookmarked and check back often- 2009 will bring additional vendors (William Arthur is one!) and more product offerings than ever!
Wishing you all the blessings of health, contentment and love.
Debra

"Save the Date" cards: Are they necessary?

"Save the Date" cards were created to help the bride and groom notify their intended guests of their upcoming nuptials. "Isn't this redundant?" "Is the expense necessary?" are questions I initially posed to myself.
The answer is "It depends...". Many factors contribute to your decision. A wedding often has a lead time of a year or more, or you may be throwing a destination wedding, inviting a large number of guests from out-of-state, need to reserve large blocks of hotel rooms and want to let people plan in advance.
My experience has been no one has ever been sorry to have sent a "Save the Date" card. The cards served a valuable purpose...advance notice has allowed many of the cherished to guests to attend!

Elegant William Arthur...again!

Speaking of Terri Symons and her incredible good taste...Terri utilized a design element from William Arthur in creating this elegant stationery. Terri also incorporated the William Arthur design element on her return address flap. And to complete the package, nothing is more elegant than a damask envelope liner in crisp white and navy blue.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Murphy

What a perfect way to start the new paperpostonline.com blog...with warmest wishes to the newlyweds Emily and Greg Murphy! It has been an honor to help Emily, along with her mother, Sarah, and sister and maid-of-honor, Hannah, as they created her stunning William Arthur invitations and accessories. Emily chose a traditional design element in William Arthur's design library to incorporate on all her wedding ensemble pieces. Her two ink colors, wedgwood blue and charcoal, combined to create a stunning wedding ensemble.

Seventeen years ago, The Paper Post began serving the brides of Indianapolis, Carmel, Zionsville, Greenwood, Columbus...it is enormously rewarding to help brides and MOBs (Mother-of-the-Bride!!!) create their vision in paper and in their budget!
